Celebration Plates:

Since opening our art studio, we began developing ideas for special occasions to meet the demands of our clients. Our most popular idea has been the Celebration Plate. When people celebrate a wedding, bar mitzvah, bridal shower or any other momentous occasion, they want to commemorate the festivities with a guest book. Well, we have taken the idea of the guest book a bit further, adding an interactive and creative component. With our Celebration Plates, people have their guests sign a pre-glazed and fired ceramic plate by utilizing special ceramic pens. After the plate has been signed, the individual simply bakes the plate in their conventional oven to make the autographs permanent.

Perhaps the greatest aspect of the Celebration Plates is that they can be customized for particular events, holidays or occasions. Be it a bridal shower gift, a Hanukah or Christmas gift, birthdays or anniversaries, the ideas are only limited by imagination.

The cost of each Celebration Plate will depend, ultimately, on how much customization is required. Painting the celebrants names and dates, along with “Congratulations” or “Mazal Tov” are obviously more labor-intensive. For customized plates like the one pictured here (we've featured the 11” Dinner Rim Plate) the cost is $45. An unpainted, plainly glazed white plate will cost $30. Both plate options include one specially-designed ceramic pen. Each additional pen costs $6. Various pen colors are available. We can also provide larger plates and platters and the pricing for each will be commensurate with actual size.
